What is Paint Correction??

What is Paint Enhancement?

Here’s the simple answer: Paint enhancement is a less extreme form of paint correction. A full paint correction requires additional time and labor over several different stages to achieve the results you want. When we perform paint enhancement, we are telling our clients what paint imperfections WILL be fixed, and what imperfections WILL NOT be fixed. Paint enhancement is the most common type of correction we do! Why is that? New vehicles, and vehicles that are a few years old tend to not require as much correction unless the owner has badly neglected the vehicle. To achieve maximum results, some sort of correction needs to be performed to optimize the Ceramic Coating’s ability to bond to the vehicle’s surface.

What is Paint Correction?

Paint correction is nothing more than more aggressive paint enhancement. Can you see the pattern here? When we are dealing with a vehicle whose paint is REALLY DAMAGED, we will perform paint correction in order to remove the maximum amount of scratches, swirls, etchings, and paint imperfections as possible. Once again, one or the other are recommended not only for visual appeal, but to create a smooth surface with which a ceramic coating can bond to the paint.

Paint Correction (After) - Paint correction done to remove deep imperfections. 1st stage heavy polishing required to remove as much of the marred surface as possible without compromising the vehicles clear coat integrity. Then a 2nd stage of polishing to enhance paint gloss, and smooth out the paintwork for Paint Protection.
